Originally posted by Object of boredom:your points are all fair and valid, it's just that to me and most others who love the game, the things the game does well outweigh the bad ones. I understand that the graphic is good, there is a lot of content and the combat is really deep and pretty innovative for the genre, but how this was a 10\10 "best rpg ever" with all those flaws? The UI is frustrating, sometimes the enemy targeting doesn't work and you characters move to them instead losing your turn and the fight in the process, the link-unlink characters is painfull to execute and the camera lock on characters is lost 8 times out of 10. Combat is awesome but there are what I consider major flaws that ruin it: armor system is frustrating, magic spells and cc are often useless, am I getting wrong or are you forced to use crowd control spells just to damage the magic armor instead of using them for the real purpose which is crowd control? The map is the worst map I've ever seen, it's low-resolution and incomprensible. The game is often unclear, quest log is incomplete and even if you understand somehow what to do and how to do it, you may have issues executing the process. The maps feels cramped with no sense of scale, it feels a game hub rather than a real world.Īll that stuff takes me away from immersion, which is a huge deal in this kind of game. It feels like the writers of Pixar and those of Dead Space worked togheter randomly. I don't like the world: game is full of weird and silly stuff like the squirrel following you at the beginning, the lack of a day night cycle (always sunny world), a lot of stuff seems too cartoony and childish contrasted by heavy gore stuff. However, I am really strugglin to get into the game, and below a list of reasons: So isometric rpg with turn based combat is my wet dream. Played both Pillars 1-2 and enjoyed them a lot. Premise: Bladur's Gate 1 and 2 were my favourite rpgs of all time. This is not to generate flame or troll stuff, but a honest consideration from one guy new to the series who is having difficult enjoying the game.

One of the key features of the Rapala CountDown is its ability to sink at a controlled rate, allowing you to precisely target fish at different depths. With its unique features and craftsmanship, it has become a popular choice among anglers worldwide. By tailoring the weight of the bait’s jig head along with your retrieve speed, you can sift through various levels of the water column. The Rapala CountDown lure is a versatile and effective fishing bait designed to target fish at specific depths. Having noted the general depth and location of suspended baitfish and game fish, a couple lure options are appropriate, the first being a soft swimbait. Open-water baitfish often travel along channel ledges and pull bass out of cover. Run sonar in split-screen mode, with multiple forms visible, to get a more complete view of a piece of fish-holding structure. Fluorocarbon line transmits slack-line strikes better than either mono or braid. Bass scattered along a ledge are ideal targets for a flutter spoon ripped off bottom and then allowed to flutter back to bottom on a slack line. Bass will either hit it immediately or ignore it. For bass holding 20 feet or so away from cover, drop a glide jig right on top of them and then snap the bait off the bottom several times. Suspending jerkbaits can trigger bass holding above the cover, while a classic Texas-rigged worm or skirted jig can pick the cover apart for less active fish.Īnother good option for bass holding off cover such as a brush pile or submerged tree top is a glide jig, the kind that Northern anglers have been using for years to dupe walleyes. If the cover lies in water within reach of a deep-diving crankbait-roughly 15 feet or less-ticking the cover with such a lure is a wise choice. Naturally, this largely depends on how deep the structure is located. Having found potential bottom cover along a ledge, the next step is choosing the correct bait or lure. Running all three views at the same time allows you to compare and mark fish-holding areas with waypoints. Down imaging and traditional sonar often do a better job of revealing bass. Side-imaging sonar allows you to evaluate greater expanses of water. Be alert for both baitfish and game fish suspended in the water column, the presence of which will help determine lure choices when it comes time to make a cast. Typically, bass will show up as groups of horizontally-oriented fish, whereas crappies will be more vertical. Such cover provides ambush points for bass and will often collect crappies and sunfish-prime bass fodder. Think brushpiles, rock clusters, foundations, bridge abutments, stumps and cribs. Use side imaging, down imaging and traditional 2D sonar to search not only for bass and baitfish, but ledge-associated cover that will hold fish. Time spent scanning channel edges before making a cast is time well spent. But since the typical body of water features miles of ledges, here’s how to efficiently find the best areas and then properly fish them, from bottom to top. Ledges, those meandering edges that rapidly fall into creek or river channels, provide some of the best offshore fishing for mid- to late-summer bass.

The company is raising $100 million in working capital and within two to three years B-ON expects annual capacity of 60,000 ECVs split evenly between Europe and the United States, said CEO Stefan Krause. Last year, B-ON produced around 2,500 ECVs and is ramping up production in Germany via contract manufacturer Neapco and in California with EV maker Karma Automotive. Some electric startups such as Arrival or Canoo, which showed early promise, have burned through mountains of cash and fallen behind.īut Maxus, Farizon and BrightDrop have deep-pocketed backers.īrightDrop CEO Travis Katz said scaling production is an "incredibly challenging and expensive process," but with GM's backing the company is on track to hit an annual capacity target of 50,000 vehicles by 2025.Īfter buying StreetScooter, B-ON has retained DHL as an anchor customer. Last week Ford unveiled a new, smaller electric Courier van aimed at winning business customers in Europe, and boxing out startups. "It's a major challenge and you have to take some tough decisions," Slatter said. Slatter said boosting EV production across an entire model lineup is difficult, which is why, for instance, the carmaker will discontinue its Ford Fiesta hatchback in Europe this year. That's the reality."įord's UK head, Tim Slatter, said the carmaker had underestimated demand for its E Transit and is racing to catch up. "If Ford loses that (F-150 Lightning) fight, Ford doesn't exist. "The Chevy Silverado, the Mercedes EQS, the Ford F-150 Lightning, are existential questions for these companies, the vans are not," Merkt says. Steven Merkt, head of transportation solutions at major supplier TE Connectivity, said as well as being late with ECV models, legacy automakers are prioritizing big-volume passenger models over vans amid tight EV battery material supply. There is no difference in delays for conventional and electric vans at Renault, said commercial vehicle marketing director John Cleworth. Fleet manager Sean Clifton has 50 additional Ford vans and 20 Maxus vans on order, but will need more soon as Asda electrifies its 1,300 delivery vans.Ĭlifton wants electric Mercedes chassis cab vans, but he said while those were initially slated for 2022, they will not arrive until 2024.Ī Mercedes-Benz spokesman said the automaker deliberately focused on ECVs for package delivery first and the chassis cab version will launch on time in 2024.Ī spokesman for Italian truck, van and bus maker Iveco Group said it should produce several thousand of its new eDAILY ECV model this year, adding that van production has been hit by component shortages and high raw material costs. Seven of UK supermarket chain Asda's eight ECVs are Maxus models, the other is a Ford. "For the next couple of years there will not be enough supply of ECVs." "There is no magic wand to fix this, we just need to get the manufacturers up to speed," said Tim Albertsen, CEO of ALD, one of Europe's largest vehicle leasing firms. That total is more than Ford, Nissan or Fiat, and up 28% versus 2021. "We plan to expand further into Central Europe areas," it added.Įlectric van market data is scarce, but according to statistics provided to Reuters by the International Council on Clean Transportation, in 2022 Maxus had around 6% of Europe's new ECV market, including the UK, selling nearly 5,000 ECVs. SAIC said it sold 18,000 mostly electric Maxus brand vehicles in Western Europe and Scandinavia last year, including buses and pickup trucks. Maxus has an advantage while legacy automakers struggle to electrify entire model lineups. "If we don't, they're gone in days."Īs fleets shift to zero-emission vehicles, newer brands have a chance to grab market share. "As soon as vans arrive dealers call us and we have to move quickly," Thomas said. Recently Packfleet has been able to obtain more Peugeot, Ford and Citroen ECVs, but has to move quickly to get them. When the company sought its first ECVs in late 2021, "we basically got laughed out of town by most dealers," with most legacy brand vans on a 12-month back order, he said. The company aims to double its fleet this year. Packfleet grew tenfold in 2022 and CEO Tristan Thomas said most of the company's 53-vehicle fleet are Maxus vans. UK last-mile delivery startup Packfleet uses only ECVs to deliver packages in London for large and small corporate customers seeking a zero-emission experience for consumers. With commercial vans, however, they also have dealt with supply-chain challenges. The established automakers were slow to embrace electric vehicles, allowing Tesla Inc to race ahead on passenger cars. Fleet customers complain they simply cannot obtain enough electric vans from the likes of Ford Motor Co, Stellantis NV brand Peugeot, Renault or Mercedes, and so they are casting about for alternatives. |
